“Best Restaurant in Mankato!”

Every time we are in Mankato for work, we make it a priority to go to Olives for at least one meal. Every time, we've had delicious food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Food servings are the right proportions for the price, and I would highly recommend Olives!

“Delicious food Attentive service”

I have been a guest at Olives on a number of occasions and feel compelled to let others know about this gem in greater Minnesota. Minneapolis and St. Paul have nothing on Olives for delicious cuisine, variety, price point and attentive service. It's worth the drive for a special occasion or just any reason for a short drive from the twin cities. If you are about freshly prepared, appealingly served and fabulous flavor Olives is your place.

“Just delicious!”

It's hard to find independent restaurants these days - and Olives really stars with its blend of American Heartland/Middle Eastern cuisine in Mankato. With owner/chef in the kitchen attention to detail & quality of food is a point of pride. I never miss one - or two meals at this very special place whenever I'm in Mankato. The small pizza's offered at lunch are excellent - the caramelized onion & goat cheese is a worthy classic - and about the schwarma pizza - even if it isn't on the menu - a unique treat! Beautifully interpreted side dishes accompany dinner entrees. The brunch buffet offers more lunch than breakfast options - again, the excellent side dishes and salads shine.
